El is unapologetically obsessed with helping people navigate change and overcome obstacles, all in service to creating a more inclusive and just world. A values-driven leader with over 25 years’ experience, she supports underrepresented individuals in achieving their personal and professional goals. As a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) catalyst and founder of Empower Asian Women Leaders, El strives to transform systems, fostering environments where everyone can thrive. Her approach emphasizes psychological safety and encourages embracing discomfort as a pathway to growth.

El completed her ICF-accredited coach education (Level 2) through the Institute of Integrative Intelligence, partnered with Coaching for Everyone. She is a Certified Professional Integrative Coach (CPIC) and will challenge the Associate Coach Certificate (ACC) exam in fall 2024. Currently, she is pursuing Executive Coaching certification and is on the path to becoming a Certified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner.

With a corporate career that spans learning and development, community development, wealth management, change management, and leadership, El brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her work. She is also a PROSCI certified change practitioner, certified financial planner (CFP) and an early adopter of responsible investments. Her commitment to DEI is deep and intentional, as she has facilitated workshops, co-chaired a racial equity employee resource group, and served on various committees supporting DEI initiatives.

In her spare time, El enjoys golfing, cycling, strength training, playing pickleball, and discovering new vegan foods. She is a dedicated wife, mother of two daughters, and proud owner of an Airedale Terrier and a grey horse.
