Gaby Fisch, MBA, ACC

Gaby specializes in dynamic manager training programs and helping to build team cultures anchored in feedback and learning. A gifted facilitator, she infuses her workshops with evidence-based research, storytelling, practical role plays, and fun! Gaby believes we must design and leverage group learning opportunities not only for the knowledge and skill development they bring, but also for the bonding and relationship building they can foster, which is often sorely needed.

Gaby brings over 20 years of broad experience gained through a unique combination of corporate, non-profit and tech start-up experience. She spent nine years at CIBC in a variety of HR domains, gaining a deep appreciation for the complexities inherent in the people-side of business. In 2012, she was introduced to the transformative power of leadership coaching, which changed the trajectory of her career. She pursued coach training and started working as a freelance career and entrepreneur coach. In 2014, she was drawn to the innovation and social impact of Toronto’s MaRS Discovery District, where she spent over five years in HR & Learning leadership roles. She later served as Chief People Officer at Inkblot Therapy, a virtual mental-health company.  In 2020, she returned to coaching and facilitation, and periodically serves as a fractional L&D Lead or embedded coach for early-stage companies. On a part-time basis, Gaby currently serves as an Executive-in-Residence at the Brampton Venture Zone, a technology start-up incubator.

Gaby is a curious lifelong learner, completing her BA from McGill University in Cultural Anthropology, followed by her MBA from the Schulich School of Business, and then pursuing her coach training from the Co-Active Training Institute.  She is certified by the International Coach Federation and also certified to deliver the EQ 2.0/ 360 emotional intelligence assessment and the Five Behaviours of a Cohesive Team assessment and accompanying program.

Gaby is currently a Board Director of the Holdbest Foundation and previously served on the board of JVS Toronto. She is a keen advocate for building deliberately developmental organizations, and loves documentaries, podcasts and nature-based travel.
