Following 15 years of experience as a People & Culture leader, primarily in the technology space, Kate joins Plum as a Leadership/HR Consultant. From start-ups to global corporations, Kate has partnered with leaders/executives from across organizations to build effective teams, create tailored solutions, enhance business efficiencies and thoughtfully improve the employee experience. 

Kate’s professional career spans several industries including music, events and education with the common thread being the gratification of interacting with people and seeing them operate at their full potential. It’s no surprise that a career in Human Resources is where Kate ultimately landed. Kate holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Dalhousie University, a Master of Music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music and graduated from the Certified International Trade Professional program.

Outside of her career, you can find Kate cheering on her kids at a hockey rink, soccer field or baseball diamond. She sits on the board of her local Little League, is a veteran manager of youth sports teams and is a regular school volunteer. For self care, Kate can be found with friends and family running or hiking the North Shore mountains. She also recently challenged herself with learning how to play hockey. Her kids have told her to stick to managing teams!
